The Festival welcomes local and international audiences committed to social change through intercultural understanding. As well. it welcomes lovers of great film and the earthly delights of South West France. Each year, CCiff invites special guests from emerging and world famous filmmakers and actors to critics, educators, archivists, film distributors, other industry representatives, the press, and intercultural chieftains.
LES INVITES PARTICIPANTS DU FESTIVAL
Le Festival s'adresse aussi bien au public local qu'international, engagé dans le changement social, à travers la compréhension interculturelle. le festival accueille également les cinéphiles et les personnes attirées par les plaisirs champêtres du Sud Quest de la France. Chaque année, le CCIff accueille des invités d'honneur, aussi bien des archivistes, des distributeurs de films et d'autres représentants de l'industrie, des médias et des personnalitès interculturelles.
THE AUDIENCE EXPERIENCE
Throughout its fifteen days of screenings and intensive dialogues - many held on PADIES idyllic grounds - substantial time will be devoted to discussions that break down interculutral barriers and prejudices and foster social change globally.
The result: You, the participant, come way with a heightened awareness of your own and others foibles. The Festival prepares you to take action by using today's forms of oral history including the internet, international panel discussions, house parties and the like.
L'EXPERIENCE DU PUBLIC
Au cours de ces quinze jours intensifs de projections et de dialogues - dont un bon nombre se déroulent sur le site idyllique de PADIES - une grande partie du temps sera réservée aux discussions, qui visent à briser les frontières et les préjugés interculturels tout en favorisant au changement de sociéte global.
Le résultat: Vous repartirez, comme participant, avec une conscience plus aigue de vos propres vulnérabilités tout comme celles des autres. Le Festival prépare le terrain pour permettre de passer
à l'action, en utilisant des formes d'expressions orales modernes, comme l'internet, les forums de discussions internationaux, les soirées festives, entre autres.
